Garlic Dressing

This recipe is from the Barn Door Steak House in San Antonio.  It opened in 1953 and is still open today.  This salad dressing is a favorite and yes...I have the recipe!!  Inherited from my beloved Grandmother I am now sharing it too!!  Enjoy!!

 Garlic Chipotle Ranch Dressing

Please note...you need to let this dressing sit overnight before using.  This makes 1 quart of dressing.  Moreover, it improves with age.

Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 ½ tsp McCormack’s Mediterranean Spiced Sea Salt
 1 tsp dry mustard
4 c salad oil
4 hard boiled eggs, minced
4 fresh garlic cloves, minced
5 sprigs parsley, chopped
4 green onions, with tops…chopped
3 celery stalks, chopped
½ c of lemon juice and vinegar

Directions:
Beat eggs on low speed in a blender.  Add the spiced season salt and mustard.  While eggs are blending, add salad oil VERY SLOWLY in a steady stream.  Add lemon juice and vinegar, mixed to taste, and then add the remaining ingredients.  Allow dressing to remain in the refrigerator in a covered container overnight.  Mix well before serving.
