A coworker gave me this recipe. It is super easy and a family favorite. Serve with a garden salad and garlic bread and you are good to go. Enjoy!!
Ingredients:
8 ounces spaghetti
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup Parmesan cheese, fresh shredded, divided
1 (24-ounce) container small curd cottage cheese
1 (20-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
(I use a Basil infused sauce)
8 ounces Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 pound ground beef
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 small yellow onion, chopped fine
Directions:
Preheat
oven to 400 degrees and spray a 13 x 9 casserole pan with non-stick
cooking spray. Cook spaghetti per package directions; drain; add butter
and mix. Mix ground beef and onion; cook until onions are transparent
and beef is browned; drain; add sauce and mix. Place spaghetti in
casserole, followed by half of Parmesan cheese; spread cottage cheese on
top of this; then add 1/4 Parmesan. Top with the ground beef and sauce
mixture; finally add layer of Mozzarella and remainder of Parmesan. Bake
30 minutes covered with foil and 15 minutes uncovered or until cheese
is melted and lightly browned. Allow to set for 10 minutes before
serving.
