World's Best Mashed Potatoes

A family favorite with a couple of tricks to where they come out perfect every time.  You can leave the skins on if you want it a little more rustic...

Make these delicious Rustic Garlic Mashed Potatoes right in your slow cooker!

Ingredients:

5-7 large baking potatoes
1 whole garlic (you are going to use all of it)
3 T McCormack's Mediterranean Spiced Sea Salt
1 stick unsalted butter
1 c milk ---at least 2%...cream is best; you may use more or less depending on desired consistency
1 pkg. Ranch Dressing mix
Crazy Jane's Mixed Up Salt; as desired
Pepper; as desired

Directions:

Peel potatoes (if desired) and place in a pot with all the cloves from one whole garlic.  (Make sure the garlic is peeled though...you don't want those skins in your potatoes!!)  Boil on the stove for one hour.  Drain the potatoes and garlic.  Transfer back to the warm pot.  Add butter, ranch dressing mix and spiced sea salt.  Get the milk ready...but don't add just yet.  Use a hand mixer and start mixing the potatoes.  Add the milk slowly.  Depending on the consistency you want you can add more or use less.  Season with the Crazy Jane's Mixed Up Salt and pepper grinder.
